Okay, why is it that whenever anyone writes an article about me, the headline is always a play on that stupid old slogan for Miller beer? Can't people think of anything new? It's just lazy!
But I'm not lazy - I'm Wentworth Miller. I know what you're saying - who? Wentworth Wha'? I'm an actor who has appeared in such diverse fare as the short-lived TV series Popular (where I looked really cute sporting the shaved head look) and the miniseries Dinotopia. No, no one else saw it either. So don't feel bad.
My film career is better, even though I've had just a few roles. I played a backstabbing doctor in Underworld, but I am best known for playing the young Coleman Silk in The Human Stain. Sir Anthony Hopkins portrayed Silk as an older man, even though we don't look a thing alike. Namely because I'm biracial, and Sir Anthony Hopkins is, well, not. My father is black - betcha couldn't tell!
Here I am looking suave at a premiere of the film. Here I am looking even more pretty at another premiere. I don't know who this overly-bleached chick is, but she keeps sidling up to me at all these premieres.
I was born in the UK - dad was studying at Oxford - but grew up in Brooklyn. I'm 32 and I graduated from Princeton, so I'm cute AND smart. Which means you should love me.
That's quite the nose he's sporting.

When the show was new and I was looking for info on it, I stumbled across MBTV, then the OTB and LG board (that's a lot of damn letters!). So if it weren't for Popular, I may not know you. Thumbs up for your choice, although I don't think he's really my type. :)

You all have got to be kidding me. You're talking about his nose? His nose??? That's a fluffy, lame response to an intriguing individual. I fell in like with this fellow while watching the film adaptation of Philip Roth's The Human Stain. I was on an Anthony Hopkin's kick, viewing and reviewing as many of his films as I could get my little hands on. With The Human Stain, Miller out shined Sinise, Hokins and Kidman. Not only is this well-educated, composed seeming yet shimmery guy easy on the eyes-- he out performed a list thespians. And someone is commenting on his nose?
Breathing.
Okay, I'm cool now. Sorry. It's just I think he's a really different sort of actor and I want him to have some respect. I don't understand why he hasn't been in more things until now. It's curious considering how uniquely attractive he is and with how well he did in the Human Stain. I don't want to believe it is because there is some nasty prejudices going on in in Hollywood casting. Sure he's mixed (a fact which I discovered when looking him up and made me quite happy as I too am mixed and super light-skinned with grey eyes)-- but he's so elegant and seemingly versatile, why would they ever need to take that into account.
I really ought to stop writing and go back to writing my thesis.
Again, I apologize if you all were just being cheeky. I rather like this guy.

Heh, I love how this Wentworth Miller entry keeps getting random comments. For those just joining us, Mistah Millah was recently seen in the final two episodes of Joan of Arcadia (playing Ryan, the eeeeeevil guy), and will soon be seen in the FOX Network's Prison Break.

I must say I have never experienced the intensity that you reveal in your acting from any other actor....there is something very different about you....I am also from a mixed background and get responses from people such as 'you are mysterious..or what is it about you?'..maybe it really is in the eyes?! Or perhaps I should just get into acting!!....I think this is where your appeal comes from and will fuel not hinder your craft....but you probably already know this...and so, I, like everyone else will appreciate your talent...some will criticize because they are talentless...and as you continue to receive approval from the world...remember none of it REALLY matters in the end...hopefully someone who DOES matter gets to know the real Wentworth Miller and f**** all the mystery...

Anyways...I kno that Wentworth Miller didn't write that intro of himself, but who ever does is really not that bright or very gullible. Well I believe he does have some talent but only becus of his stare. Without it, he is just like evey other actor. If Wentworth Miller ever read this...I would tell him staight to his face that he is very unusual. I don't mean that in a good way..and I don't mean that in a bad way either. Also..some advice or wisdom...that stare will lose it's appeal after a while and after that..what will you do next Wentworth? Your talent can fade too. i also wish that people wouldn't be so focused on the fact that he is mixed and looks white because thats so not important, hes a person and i dont think people should be labeled.
