You DO NOT want to stay awake for 48 consecutive hours, while taking that trip...regardless of your division of the driving. That is not healthy for you. Try the 48 hours deal over the course of a weekend or something of that sort.
Sleep-driving is the only way to travel. That dinner looks awsome. The block glass window and the neon, you can't go wrong there.
