Fun With Jake

Heh, well, I just got done complaining over on Ben's blog that my Audioblogger stuff from yesterday hadn't posted yet, but uh ... it had. So here are the two recordings I made with Jake.

BE WARNED - Jake is profane. And really all you can hear from me is laughing. Lots and lots of laughing.

I thought I gorked the first try, so then we did ...

Yay! I got it to work...finally.

Also, I'm still not totally convinced that Jake *does* exist. He could just be one of those dolls where you pull the string. Only all this doll can say is "f@ck."

Huh. Heewig, you do not sound at all like I thought you would. I mean, I'm not sure exactly what I thought you would sound like. Weird, isn't it? You have a delightful voice, at any rate. Not that I thought you wouldn't.

Interesting you say that, jirdy. I thought the exact same thing when I heard her voice for the first time.

Interesting. What did you guys think I would sound like? And what do I sound like instead?

I remember thinking your voice was deep the first time I talked to you. But it doesn't sound deep to me anymore. Maybe it's because I have a squeaky shrilly voice.

I actually didn't recognize my own voice the first time I heard it recorded. It's a weird phenomenon. Also weird? I had the exact same thought as Roo when I heard the "2nd attempt." Jake has very consistent delivery when it comes to swearing.
